As weird as it sounds my inspiration is driven by the model because everyone has different features and those features is what helps me decide the backdrop, the concept, the wardrobe, etc. My favorite thing to photograph is people; everyone is unique in their own way whether that’s their sense of style or freckles I enjoy capturing those little things and making them stand out. My photography process is pretty long. I start off with deciding what message/statement I want to make this is usually where I come up with the name of the series.

I started photography about six years ago. I always knew I had love for photography but I never thought it would become my passion let alone my career. I remember going to a photography meet up in Los Angeles and at the time I didn’t own a DSLR camera so I was super self- conscious about my photos especially being one of few female photographers and I would watch these “Instagram famous photographers” create all these amazing photos and I just remember thinking to myself “This is it, this is what I want to do for the rest of my life”. My advice for people who are interested in photography or who are starting off is, believe in your own work because not everyone is going to like your work or understand your vision; so, create for yourself, not for others entertainment.
